Front Door Ministry

FOCUS provides food referrals for households to access Feed Your Neighbor.  Referrals are completed the last two weeks of each month: Mondays through Thursdays  from 8:30 a.m.  to 4:00 p.m. and on Fridays from 8:30 - 11:45 a.m.  Photo ID and Social Security card required.

Steps to Home

FOCUS receives referrals from family emergency shelters for acceptance into the FOCUS Direct Housing Program.  Once accepted, families secure housing and work toward goals to stabilize both their housing and their incomes to make certain they will never become homeless again.  Families in shelter should seek assistance from their case manager regarding calls for an intake appointment.  Families finding themselves without a home should call United Way’s 2-1-1 for housing assistance.

FOCUS’ Permanent Supportive Housing Program offers housing and support for individuals or families who find that the adult’s disability has kept them from maintaining housing.  Referrals are accepted from emergency shelters only.  Those accepted into FOCUS PSH demonstrate a willingness to manage their disability to ensure they can maintain their housing.
